Our grapefruit tree is going nuts this year. It has over 100 grapefruits and it's grown too tall. The fruit is mostly on the lower part of the tree and my merciless trimming only removes the new "summer" growth on the top.
The problem with this tree is that it's too close to the house. I don't know a whole lot about pruning fruit trees My objective is to keep it away from the house and below the roofline.
