It's that time of year again. The cactus is in bloom and it's time to head back to Alberta.

You're in for a treat today.  We hiked to Wind Cave this morning and Joel volunteered to take the pictures.

At Wind Cave we found a bees nest. These are non-aggresive wild bees that have built a hive in the ceiling of Wind Cave. The hive is approximately 3 ft x 2 ft and hangs about 1 ft from the ceiling.

Cholla Cactus flowers

Looking west towards Phoenix and Camelback Mountain on the horizon.

Dream house on a small mountain top. Not sure how the guy gets up to his house because there is no apparent driveway. After a lot of discussion and input from the kids, the consensus was that he has an underground parking garage and an elevator. I'll have to check it out on Google Earth.
