Pickleball Clinic at Leisure World

Our Pickleball Club invited Mr. Mark Friedenberg to conduct a 1/2 day clinic at our new courts here in Leisure World. Jackie Radenbaugh, pictured below with Mark, spearheaded the event and at her request, I volunteered to take a few pictures. 

Mark is a level 5 pickleball player from Seattle Wa. He tours the country promoting the sport and conducting training clinics and he's even written books on the subject. There are few better than him.

These photos were taken especially for Jackie but I decided to post them on my blog for everyone to see.

Last day in Leisure World (for the kids)

The kids have worn out the golf cart and the pickleball courts and the swimming pools. No one is in favour of it but the weather is improving in Slocan City so it's time to go.

Dozens of residents here in Leisure World have met and enjoyed your company and hate to see you go.

The pool is a great place for the adults to socialize. The kids are too busy with their friends to bother anybody.

Back at home it's BBQ Steak with shrimp and baked potatoes for New Years Eve supper.

Yvonne couldn't make up her mind so she had one of each.

Pinata fun. It started out looking like a butterfly with huge antennas but it deflated overnight. That didn't matter though. The boys still beat it to a pulp.
