Amy and Stephen visit

We had been settled in for a month or so when Amy and Stephen found an opportunity to visit. They brought cool and rainy weather with them but it was great seeing them anyway.  Our activities were primarily indoors for the duration of their visit.

Both brought their laptops so they could "work from home".

Getting into a routine

Shortly after arriving in Mesa we took delivery of our golf cart from Apache Golf Cars. Golf carts are more common than cars to get around with in Leisure World.

Possession day; And so, the AZ adventure begins.....

We heard all about Leisure World from our friends Sandi and Tito. They had purchased a home in this gated community over year ago and after visiting them and seeing for ourselves, we decided to take the plunge too.  We found this recently renovated home and made an offer.

The house was completely renovated in 2006 by the folks we bought it from. They'd replaced and upgraded everything making this house the "no-brainer" to buy. Besides that, they asked if they could leave the furnishings because they were moving to Virginia with only a station wagon to carry their belongings.
